I have a question that has plagued me for quite some time. Maybe ya'all can help me. Is there anyone out there that has the same age as their birthyear? For instance I am 54, I know that seems way to old for the way I act, but I was born in 1954. Get it? In my thinking, there can only be kids born in 2000 that qualify for this statement, unless you were born after 1910 and you are still alive. You have to be alive to play this game. This 1910 guy would qualify for the game when he was 10. Post and tell me if this works for you, or actually when it will work for you. Statistically it won't happen to all of us, especially if we die young, right???? Does this even make sense to anyone but me?

We went to Lake Powell this summer. This fine "man" represents the Davies "man status". Look at those fine pectoral lines, bulging biceps, toned abs. But of all these the mental muscle stands tallest!
Luke is King!

You know, Mike is really on the "cutting edge" of style,........ but later on this bit. I went to a neighbors wedding, that Mike was conducting, and got lost, ( which is beginning to be a routine act for me.) I finally located the very small church and decided to enter at the door on the side of the building, because it was open. As I approached the door I noticed the bride standing right there, I shrunk down a little so I wouldn't be too noticed, but was, and quickly remarked "I sorry I'm late". She abruptly responded, kind of annoyingly that I needed to walk down the side aisle of the small chapel to find a seat. As I snuck in the back, everyone turned around, because at the same instance the music began and the bride practically followed me in. I'm sure the crowd was pleased that "I" wasn't the bride to be, but a little bewildered at my timely entrance. Anyway back to the story of Mike on the cutting edge. He performed the wedding very nicely and then announced to the congregation the introduction of what was suppose to be "Preston" and "Christine", but came out "Prestine". Thank goodness everyone laughed.
Really when you think about it, was he the one who coined "Benafer", and "Branjolina?" Who really knows, but as for me, I think it stands to reason that he is the man who coins the phrases we all wish we'd said!

9 things.....one better

9 TV shows I like to watch...ER, Office, HGTV, Ell-N, House, The Hills, Rob and Big, Dancing with the Stars, and The Bachelorette.

9 Favorite Restaurants....Chili's, Chuck o Rama, Cafe Rio, Kneaders, Mimi's, Cheesefactory, Big B's (when there was one), Outback, and The Olive Garden, even though I couldn't remember the name! (five of those, Mike hates!)

9 things that happened yesterday..... We stole syrup from the hotel restaurant so we could feed the family. We watched Paul bounce big boy baby (triple "B"), Mac off an air-filled mattress, giggling all the way to the next mattress. Watched Mike redo the bench he had just put together, because he put it together backwards. Drove three and 1/2 hours in a 1987 rusted out truck named Lil' Blue with Lil' Wil shedding like dandruff flying off the unwashed haed of a hobo. Listened to conference every so often when we were between mountains, (You might say the radio in Lil Blue isn't cherry. ) Went to Megan Todd's B-day party and talked about Halloween costumes with the old people. Stood in awe at the party later when Jason brought his date ( a real girl), to the festivities. After awe came dumbfounded when Nick traveled the distance and came to the "big" gathering. Ended the night by squeezing "the zit" on Willies mug to see if a thick whisker would pop out!

9 things I look forward to....going on a mission, vacationing in France for my 35th anniversary, getting a new granite countertop, wearing my pj bottoms all day, taking a long, hot, bath, going to lunch with the girls, finishing or rather starting my bedroom remodel, having my yard manicured, and last of all sawing the quakie trees, bores and all to the ground!

9 wish list items.....seeing all my grandkids in one room, marrying off all my children before the grandkids, a clean house for three straight days, having a new exciting, creative costume every year for Halloween until the day I die, wearing matching socks every day, having a full time hair dresser, a clone of myself that talks about how great her boss is, being a co-host for a year, and being able to dance like Ell-N every day!
